I attended a full moon ceremony once where I learned that the full moon energy is often about bringing to the surface emotions, thoughts, and sensations or inner knowings- that one can no longer keep down inside. It’s a time for full expansion and expression- many times without ones consent.
This resonated with me, so I haven’t forgotten it since. It makes sense to me that as the rhythm of the moon controls the rhythm of the ocean tides, and we with our own inner tides of water, would also be influenced by the rhythms of the moon.
So maybe that’s what’s happening here. Maybe not. We live in a time where absolute certainty-the ability to trust or to ‘know’ something- depends on what we can translate or reproduce with our machines and technologies. But I’ve come to find another route of absolute certainty- one that rests within. Another form of technology that we don’t have to create, but that has been alive within us since our time spent developing in the womb.
This technology is so advanced that the machines we’ve created haven’t yet been able to ‘prove’ its existence or it’s absolute certainty. I believe, that we are coming into a time where we will realize again (or better described- remember-) this inner technology. This inner guidance and inner communication system.
I think this time is advancing upon us without our consent, among those still resisting, because the way in which we are living outside of ourselves is no longer sustainable.
I believe, the greatest way we can honor our ancestors, our past, and forgive our violence—Is to remember, and remember with sacred intention. We all come from someplace old, someplace ancient- and by acting in sacred intention with whatever way you choose to practice- we can remember. And we can honor. This is the medicine that is being given to us right now- the medicine of our ancestors and of traditional wisdom—during these times of exterior uncertainty and massive change. We have the opportunity right now—-as we’re forced to remain at home with more silence than our current society knows how to manage—- we can go inwards. ithout separation and the need to control. Her path is a spiral and travels deep. Darkness will be honored as a place of knowing and healing rather than fear and avoidance.
Yes this is my belief. This is from my communication with my own inner technology- and communication with forces that don’t need words or a name. Because I find the more our minds try to name something- the more the energy of this time and consciousness of most people right now gets lost in the fighting and arguing rather than the feeling and the listening.
Spirituality, in my experience, is relationship. And spiritual practices, done with sacred intention, are ceremonies. In my experience, it doesn’t matter anymore to fight over who/where/how/ - these pieces are important to the extent that we have forgotten how to honor each other and honor the tradition of wisdom. Many of our ancestors died because of this and had their practices, these practices that we are remembering, taken away and forcefully denied. This was a tragedy. But to dwell here, is to loose sight in half the lesson we’re approaching upon now.
I believe, the greatest way we can honor our ancestors, our past, and forgive our violence—Is to remember, and remember with sacred intention. We all come from some place old, some place ancient- and by acting in sacred intention with whatever way you choose to practice- we can remember.
We can embrace the silence before us. Listen. Sit outside under the sun, the moon, the stars, the trees, the desert sunsets... wherever you are. And listen to what’s around you. It takes immense patience and commitment, but what a blessing of this current time that we can build it now.
Everything we do now, must be done in sacred ceremony and relationship. Our lives in every way reflect our lessons, our calling, our intentions. Live in sacredness. If you don’t know how, ask. Answers may come in ways you can’t understand, but you can feel. Not all knowings need to be understood in words to have meaning.
Perhaps for myself, this is becoming my way to live in sacred- to share. To be transparent. This full moon, is showing me that there is no more room, no more time for hiding, for sugar coating. This is who I am- who are you? Who will you choose to be? What calls you? What moves you? Today is a great day, to ask La Luna as she shines closer and brighter than most days- and represents our subconscious self, our magical selves, our shadow selves, our truest and most honest selves that often we tend to keep hidden away from an outer reality that’s based on judgement and fear.
Now is the time to ask. Now is the time to listen. Now is the time to feel without constraint. And rather than reacting- breathing and flowing. Now is the time to connect, not just virtually, but inwardly. Now is the time that the heart will speak.
We will remember our connection to the earth not as a part of, or living on, — but birthed from. We will remember our time in the womb of Mother Earth, in rhythm with grandmother moon and awakened by father sun and in harmony with all of creation. We learn again how to be in relationship, ceremony, harmony with ourselves, and each other. This is the path of the feminine. It’s not just women rising to power to take ownership of- that will be a part of the laboring transition- but the birth will result in a transcendence of harmony and balance unlike what we know today because the feminine can hold all parts of ourselves and existence without separation and the need to control. Her path is a spiral and travels deep. Darkness will be honored as a place of knowing and healing rather than fear and avoidance.
My intention, my prayer, is that you may know peace, love and inner truth on this journey Namaste.
